Insurance Services
In-Network Coverage: If you are interested in using your health insurance to cover or offset the costs of therapy, I may be an available provider within your health insurance network. I use a HIPAA-compliant billing service called Headway to conduct all of my practice's insurance billing. For more information on what coverage you have available or if you are a current client who wants to utilize your insurance to pay for sessions, click here to access my Headway portal for clients.
Out-Of-Network Coverage: If I am not currently an in-network provider in your health insurance network and you have a PPO plan, you may choose to pay out-of-pocket for services and I can provide you with a monthly statement (called a "SuperBill") which you may submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement or credit toward your deductible (if applicable). Please note that, on your SuperBill, I am required to provide a mental health diagnosis for you, which could impact the cost of your insurance in the future. Unfortunately, I can not guarantee any SuperBill will be reimbursed or intervene on your behalf to contest a denial, so I recommend you speak to your insurer before we meet for more information on whether they offer out-of-network reimbursement, what services and billing codes they reimburse for, whether they reimburse for telehealth, and their process for submitting SuperBills. Please let me know before we start treatment if you would like to receive SuperBills.

Your Right to A Good Faith Estimate
If you do not have insurance or choose not to utilize insurance to cover the cost of treatment, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the total expected cost of your non-emergency medical and mental health care will cost, including psychotherapy services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
